Motion design is the creation of computer animation, that is moving objects. But what is the difference between motion graphics and conventional animation? Motion design is just a kind of animation, there’s less of a story and narrative in this technique.
Motion design is closely related to graphic design. The main component is the text, the objects of navigation on the site, promotional products. And the characters can help to convey the right facts to users, evoke emotion, but they are not in the spotlight.
If you want to make a rotating logo on the site or animate a blot out of which the name of the project appears – that’s motion design.
Motion designer (from motion) creates animated 2D and 3D graphics, in other words, makes static digital images move. The profession is suitable for creative people who are “up to speed” with modern software for digital video content creators.
