The Official Blender3D Model Repository was started originally by akator from KatorLegaz. However, due to some problems, he could not continue hosting it. Since then, the team from E2-Productions.com took over and is now hosting the current iteration of the BMR. Our function is to allow people to submit and download free Blender models. We've also agreed to start hosting tutorials from Blenderheads. This are available from our tutorials page. We hope that our site will become a valuable resource to any beginner in Blender.
